This week, Aetna became the latest big insurance company to roll back its participation in the Affordable Care Act (ACA) health exchanges. In 2017, the health insurer will stop offering plans on the exchanges in nearly 70% of the counties where it offered plans this year. AEI scholars are available to comment.
