“The 2010 Quadrennial Defense Review – An In-depth Initial Appraisal”
WASHINGTON, January 29, 2010 – The Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) International Security Program will host a panel discussion appraising the 2010 Quadrennial Defense Review. The discussion will feature top CSIS defense and national security experts.
WHEN/WHERE: Tuesday, February 2, 8:00 a.m.–9:30 a.m.

A light breakfast will be served at 8:00 a.m. The discussion will begin at 8:30 a.m. The panel will take questions from the audience after their remarks. Please find the full panel below:
David Berteau, director of CSIS’s Defense-Industrial Initiatives Group and former principal deputy assistant secretary of defense for production and logistics
Clark Murdock, senior adviser with CSIS’s Defense and National Security Group and former director of policy planning in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Planning
Maren Leed, senior fellow with CSIS’s Defense and National Security Group and former special assistant to the vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff
Nathan Freier, senior fellow with CSIS’s Defense and National Security Group and former director of national security affairs at the Army War College’s Strategic Studies Institute
