The CSIS International Security Program invites you to atttend a conversation on leadership with former Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James. She will discuss her new book,Aim High: Chart Your Course and Find Success.
As the 23rd Secretary of the Air Force (only the second woman to lead a U.S. military service) and a successful business leader, James reveals her formula for success, using challenges to grow stronger, and staying true to herself and her goals. InAim High: Chart Your Course and Find Success, James shares her personal and professional challenges, outcomes, strategies for success, and the problem-solving principles she used to overcome the daunting pressures, threats, and challenges that come with rising to the top of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Dr. Kathleen Hicks will introduce Former Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel who will deliver opening remarks followed by an armchair discussion with the Honorable Deborah Lee James and Ms. Beverly Kirk.
