CAN A CITY BE SUSTAINABLE? The Spanish Chapter of the Club of Rome and the Worldwatch Institute, with the collaboration of Obra Social la Caixa, the Abertis Foundation, the AGBAR Foundation, Gas Natural Fenosa, the ICTA Institute of Environmental Science and Technology - UAB, and CaixaForum Madrid are pleased to convene this conference. This event has the distinction of being the first time that the Worldwatch Institute presents its prestigious annual report in Spain. The event is part of the collaboration that started between the Chapter and the Office of the Club of Rome in Barcelona with the Worldwatch Institute. The partnership has facilitated the inclusion of a chapter written by the ICTA Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology - UAB. ¿PUEDE UNA CIUDAD SER SOSTENIBLE? El Capítulo Español del Club de Roma y el Worldwatch Institute, con la colaboración de la Obra Social la Caixa , la Fundación Abertis, la Fundación AGBAR, Gas Natural Fenosa, el ICTA Instituto de Ciencias y Tecnología Ambientales - UAB, y CaixaForum Madrid se complacen en convocar esta jornada.
Esta ocasión, tiene la singularidad de ser la primera vez que el Worldwatch Institute (WWI), presenta este prestigioso Informe Anual en España.
La jornada se enmarca en la colaboración que ha iniciado el Capítulo y la Oficina del Club de Roma en Barcelona con el Worldwatch Institute (WWI) y que ha facilitado que en la nueva edición del Informe se haya incluido un capítulo redactado por el ICTA Instituto de Ciencias y Tecnología Ambientales - UAB.
