In order to aaccelerate implementation, coherence and collaboration is required. This Africa Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction (AFRP) side event explores how resilience features in the 2015-2030 global agenda, and makes recommendations to national governments for practical action. Panelists are tasked to assess the necessary next steps to inform the design and delivery of implementation and monitoring frameworks at the international and national level.
