MEACAP: Survey of technical and management-based mitigation measures in forestry
WP4 D13 - This report contains an extensive list of measures which detail the ways in which forestry can contribute to the development of enhanced carbon sinks, or to reduced greenhouse gas emissions. Effective measures can be divided into three categories; firstly those that protect existing carbon stocks; secondly those that aim to increase average carbon stocks; and thirdly those measures that aim to harvest biomass in order to create bioenergy.Downloads
