Action Taken to Address Climate and Energy Priorities in the EU Member States, and Prospects for Implementation of the Climate Action and Renewable Energy Package
This paper provides an early overview of the prospects for implementation of the EU climate action and renewable energy (CARE) package across the EU at Member State level, as of spring 2009. It is based on reviews of the legislative state of play in all 27 Member States and includes detailed case study assessments of developments in the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Spain, and the United Kingdom, and 19 deskbased Member State reviews.
