摘要 | In this FEEM Working Paper, FEEM researcher E. De Cian and professor I. Sue Wing combine an econometric analysis of the response of energy demand to temperature and humidity exposure with future scenarios of climate change and socioeconomic development to characterize climate impacts on energy demand at different spatial scales. "Future climate change is expected to have a moderate impact on global aggregate energy demand because of compensating effects across regions, fuels, and sectors, but climate change could disproportionally affect energy demand in low- and middle-income countries." *** Suggested citation: De Cian, E., I.
