摘要 | In this FEEM Working Paper, S. Santato, J. Mysiak, and C. Dionisio Pérez-Blanco offer insights that can inform reform of water abstractions in the Po River Basin District and elsewhere in Italy and in Europe. "A more flexible water abstraction licence regime in Italy is to be recommended, on account of the observed and expected decline in water availability, amplified climate variability, population growth and economic development, and as a means of regulating minimum environmental flows." *** Suggested citation: Santato, S., J.
