| 摘要 | Here it is asserted that ‘laws’ of nature involve at least three necessary properties: independence, analyticity and invariance. The first asserts that the law is independent of the particular process in which the relevant physical quantities enter, the second enables us to neglect what's happening ‘at infinity’, while the third requires the law to be ‘coordinate-free’. Using the theory of singularities of smooth mappings, an exposition of natural law and its relationship to similarity of systems is presented. |
