29 October 2018 (Ottawa, Canada) – The Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) and Gateway House: Indian Council on Global Relations will convene Canada and India government officials, experts and other distinguished guests for the Canada-India Track 1.5 Dialogue on Innovation, Growth and Prosperity on October 30, 2018 at the Fairmount Château Laurier in Ottawa, Ontario. Canada and India maintain strong bilateral relations built on a foundation of shared values and economic interests. The Canada-India Track 1.5 Dialogue on Innovation, Growth and Prosperity, a three-year initiative between CIGI and Gateway House, strives to build closer ties between Canada and India. The Canada-India Track 1.5 Dialogue seeks opportunities to work jointly on multilateral issues and identifies areas where improved cooperation could benefit both countries. Canada’s inaugural meeting will focus on economic relations, cyber security, geo-engineering and climate leadership.
