| 摘要 | In this study, major issues needed for the rehabilitation of the natural ecology of river ecosystems and the improvement of the ecosystem service were derived and discussed through a series of forums. Diverse stakeholders including academic communities, NGOs, and the government participated in the forums to draw up policy issues for healthy rivers. The main policy directions derived from this study are as follows: (1) Introduction of an environmental flow maintenance notification system that reflects the river regime, (2) Establishment of a social consensus system on the desirable river shape, (3) Mid- and long-term countermeasures for river restoration in an integrated aspect, (4) Establishment of a comprehensive plan for the watershed level, (5) Establishment of watershed management principles, stabilization of watershed management systems, and expansion of the watershed governance structure, and (6) Reinforcement of water management financing. |
