| 摘要 | 【General Aims】 To achieve a transition from a loosely-coordinated set of existing ocean observing activities to a sustainable, efficient, and fit-for-purpose Integrated Atlantic Ocean Observing System (IAOOS), by defining requirements and systems design, improving the readiness of observing networks and data systems, and engaging stakeholders around the Atlantic; and leaving a legacy and strengthened contribution to the Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS) and the Global Earth Observation System of Systems (GEOSS). 【CMCC role】 (OPA Division): To estimate hazard and cost associated to ship routes in the Atlantic Ocean and to realize an interactive user-interface for querying the resulting database.(ODA Division): Improved design of the in-situ observing system for ocean reanalysis, analysis and forecasting of physical variables and test of different models and methods for robustness.【Activies】 Task 8.3 “Ship routing hazard mapping”
Task 1.3 “Observing System Design Studies”【Expected results】(OPA Division): To develop an interactive system for hazard mapping of Atlantic ship routes.
(ODA Division): To deliver objective guidelines to improve existing elements and/or implement new components of the IAOOS. |
