| 概述 | SUSHI project departs from an holistic approach to address common challenges already identified in historic districts of six cities from five EU Mediterranean countries [Lisboa (PT), Valletta (MT), Savona (IT), Ptuj (SI), Nicosia (CY), and Sassari (IT)] to work, within a shared framework, to change their historic districts towards more sustainable, climate resilient and inclusive ones, through innovative integrated solutions and social change. |
| 摘要 | 【General Aims】 SUSHI aims to demonstrate how a collaborative approach to taking integrated action in the 6 cities for systemic change will deliver innovation through social change towards sustainability and climate change mitigation and resilience.

SSD – Smart Sustainable Districts 【CMCC role】 Project partner and responsible for Sassari case study【Activies】 SASSARI’s main objectives are:
Create a network among the academic world, professionals, citizens, companies and the civil society in Sassari to develop strategies for innovative urban green solutions;
Improve green infrastructures and promote urban regeneration inside the historical city center, to (i) identify new opportunities for individual and collective changes related to more accessible and usable spaces; (ii) elaborate new options and valuable functions according to criteria of environmental compatibility and functionality; (iii) foster sustainable urban transformations through the redefinition of public spaces, the urban social life, and a sustainable tourism.【Expected results】Identification of existing green areas (private/public gardens) and recovery of historical memory on ancient utilization of these spaces;
Design of new green pathways to interconnect all the existing green areas in order to adapta to high temperature;
Indentification of new opportunities for using these areas to promote social cohesion and cultural events;
Increased awareness of citizens on climate change issues and increased desire by local community to be part of the development process of their city towards sustainable goals;
Improve and consolidate the role of the PUA (Urban Parternship for Adaptation) in promoting adaptation options. |
