Despite recent encouraging signs of success in the medical treatment of HIV, the problem of HIV and AIDS infection remains one of immense proportion and continues to pose major challenges in the workplace and in society at large. This book highlights the need for collective action and argues for a clear set of policies and guidelines to deal with a pandemic which has been shown to worst affect 20 to 40 year olds, the heart of the working population. It analyzes different approaches, presents the legislative and regulatory framework, and describes positive and negative enterprise practices.
