AIM (Asia-Pacific Integrated Model) team has conducted know-how transfer of Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG)’s building climate action to cities in Malaysia. When we developed low carbon society plan in Iskandar Development Region and Putrajaya and once these plans have been endorsed by city officials, their next challenge is how to make it happen. Tokyo Metropolitan Government has conducted her building GHG reporting scheme since 2002. TMG is the first city that introduced Cap and Trade system at city scale in the world and this system is the basic foundation of hear Cap and Trade scheme. Both Iskandar Malaysia and Putrajaya consider starting her building system through our training programs in Tokyo and Malaysia.
