摘要 | All is not well on Africa’s oil and gas scene. Falling global oil prices in recent years have handicapped efforts to turnaround stagnating output in major producers as well as slowed new producers from entering the market. This issue of the Oxford Energy Forum brings together contributors from industry, academia, and civil society to offer multiple views of the bright-spots and challenges facing oil and gas development on the African continent. It focuses on the politics and economics of seasoned producers in sub-Saharan Africa and the birth of new oil and gas producers and up-and-comers, and shows that while old political and security challenges persist, new governance and regional risks are also impacting the development of new oil and gas industries. |
