摘要 | The ultimate objective of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is to stabilise greenhouse gas concentrations at a level that prevents dangerous anthropogenic interference with the climate system, in order to allow ecosystems to adapt naturally to climate change and enable economic development to proceed in a sustainable manner. The transferring of climate-friendly technologies between Parties was identified as one of the key means to achieve this objective from the beginning of the Convention. This research paper explores questions about the future of technology development and transfer under the Convention from the perspective of the LDC Group of negotiators. |
