This virtual special issue provides the titles, authors and abstracts of papers published in Environment and Urbanization on climate change and cities. It also includes a few other papers on risk assessments, risk reduction and resilience that have relevance to climate change. By the end of 2017, over 90 papers had been published on these topics.
