摘要 | What does Germany’s frequently mentioned population decrease actually mean for sustainable development? How can social security systems, but also the provision of wastewater services and a functioning transport infrastructure be maintained within this context? Ecologic, in partnership with the Berlin Institute, has developed the report “Contributions to Generational Accounting to Assess Sustainability”, which examined these and other questions concerning demographic evolution within the context of sustainability. The project concentrated on analysing the intersection of demographic evolution and of the classical “dimensions” of sustainability—ecology, economy and social aspects—from the point of view of generational equity. The project report was published by the oekom-Verlag for purchase. |
