Judicialization of the Battleground Politique étrangère, Vol. 79, No. 4, Winter 2014
The increasing judicialization of external military action is encouraging military law to fall into line with common law.  The 2013 Military Planning Act attempted to put this evolution into a framework in order to make way for public proceedings and, more generally, to increase military responsibility. In order to bring this legal framework into practice, the military police will play a central role, conducting investigations involving military personnel and French citizens in hostile environments.
