摘要A fundamental problem has been the lack of widely-accepted methods for analysing the impact of walking and cycling on transport network performance. By trying to put walking and cycling on an equal footing with motorised transport, the FLOW multimodal urban road transport network performance analysis methodology (the FLOW methodology) aims to contribute to a more informed debate on the role of walking and cycling on transport network performance.
