摘要 | The objectives of the research are to review the best practices for the deployment of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, specify optimal models for the Israeli case, and provide actionable guidelines for implementation. The focus of the research is public charging infrastructure for passenger electric vehicles and Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV), which represents the vast majority of the national vehicles fleet. It consists of three distinct parts, each based on different methodologies – international best practices review, stakeholders feedback and analysis and forecast for EVs and charging in Israel.
The provided prediction model shows the following:
The predicted demand for fast chargers is for 20 to 65 (42 avg.) fast chargers required by 2020, and 152 to 502 (327 avg.) fast chargers required by 2025. |
