Is the euro crisis really over? Find out in The Euro Plus Monitor Spring 2014 Update, the latest instalment of the bi-annual competitiveness ranking published by Berenberg and the Lisbon Council. The Euro Plus Monitor ranks eurozone economies (plus Poland, Sweden and the United Kingdom) according to the speed with which they are coping with structural challenges and the relative strength of their underlying economies. This year, the study was formally launched in Brussels at the European Business Summit on 15 May 2014 by Holger Schmieding, chief economist of Berenberg and the study’s principal author.
