摘要 | Describes the results of a second set of site visits to 10 grantees, highlighting common activities and challenges faced during the first year, as well as impacts at the individual and institutional levels. Major activities included redesigning curriculum and providing technology training to students and faculty, K-12 teachers, and community college faculty. The primary challenges included accommodating variation in skill levels among participants, motivating faculty and students to engage in training, and bridging the gap between training and the classroom. Overall, as faculty, students, and K-12 teachers became more involved in grant activities, their attitude toward the use of technology in education shifted, and they began to view it as having a leading, rather than a supporting, role in teacher education. They also thought that students and faculty would work together to integrate technology in the classroom. |
