摘要 | This interim report from Mathematica's longitudinal study presents 18 months of follow-up data on families whose cases closed in early 1998 because of a time limit. Notes that nearly all parents worked at some point during the follow-up period, and most worked for more than half of it. Wages were low, but average hours and wages increased over time. Average income also increased, with 26 percent of families reporting incomes above the poverty line at the end of the period. Furthermore, 80 percent had health insurance coverage for their children at the end of the period, but fewer than a third had coverage for themselves. |
