| 摘要 | For Medicaid and SCHIP managed care programs to succeed, they must attract enough and the right kinds of plans and providers to meet access and care goals. A 2001 survey of participating plans in 11 large states revealed that they appear supportive of both programs and for the most part are able to get providers to participate. To date, the SCHIP program has not attracted many plans that do no already participate in Medicaid. However, the authors note that maintaining current plan and provider relationships under current budget constraints will be challenging. |
