摘要 | This new report from Mathematica’s Ticket to Work program evaluation looks at the Work Incentives Planning and Assistance (WIPA) program, a grant initiative established by the Social Security Administration (SSA) in 2006. WIPA provides SSA beneficiaries with disabilities information and guidance about work incentives and how to effectively use them to find jobs and stay employed. This evaluation of the WIPA program captured important information about start-up experiences and early opportunities for program improvement. Most notably, more funding may be needed to ensure that available staffing and budget levels are met in order for WIPA, a critical element in SSA’s return-to-work policy, to succeed over the long term. |
