摘要 | In an environment of finite public and private resources, decision makers want to understand interactions between public and private-sector philanthropic efforts and learn how to promote effective collaborations. This study examined how these efforts can complement each other to improve effectiveness of services and programs. Researchers found that many federal and foundation priorities overlap, and that interactions between the two sectors are common. Partnerships, while fruitful, involve costs as well as benefits and may not be appropriate in all cases. |
