摘要 | This chapter, from the book America and a Changed World: A Question of Leadership, assesses America's engagement with the world on climate change. The chapter looks at the record to date of US engagement with international efforts to control global warming and considers recent changes in the domestic political landscape. The chapter goes on to focus on the need for a fresh look at US-China relations in the context of global energy and climate security. The chapter concludes with a summary of key recommendations for the new administration towards a new strategy of engagement with the world on climate change. |
