摘要 | This issue brief highlights a number of prescription drug issues that remain important for states after the shift of prescription drug coverage for Medicaid-Medicare dual eligibles to Medicare in 2006, including the use of antipsychotic drugs in nursing facilities and other settings. It focuses on Medicaid-only beneficiaries younger than 65 with disabilities and chronic illnesses, who now account for more than 60 percent of total Medicaid prescription drug spending and whose care is increasingly being provided through managed care organizations. |
