概述This report describes how the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services established the second cohort of partnerships, describes the grantees and their planned program services and local evaluation designs, and presents the design for the national cross-site evaluation.",
摘要Since 2006, Congress has authorized competitive regional partnership grants to address the needs of families to improve the well-being, permanency, and safety outcomes of children who were in, or at risk of, out-of-home placement as a result of a parent’s or caregiver’s methamphetamine or other substance use disorder. In September 2012 the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services awarded 17 new five-year grants and established ongoing program- and evaluation-related technical assistance provided through Mathematica and another federal contractor. It reviewed the evidence based of programs selected by the partnerships and approved Mathematica’s cross-site evaluation, consisting of studies of (1) the partnerships, (2) selection and implementation of evidence-based programs, (3) child and family outcomes, and (4) program impacts.
