概述 | What are the characteristics and symptoms of maladaptation, and how can it be diagnosed? Which strategies are likely to lead to maladaptive outcomes? This report aims to help policymakers and practitioners identify the main constituents of maladaptation. |
摘要 | Climate change adaptation receives a great deal of attention in policy and academic communities, but has yet to be fully explored in practical and conceptual terms. Indeed, the prospect that adaptation actions could lead to increased climate risk and ‘maladaptation’ has only recently been given attention. This report aims to address conceptual shortfalls in understanding the drivers and characteristics of maladaptation, in order to provide a framework for identifying maladaptation. |
