In April 2018, heads of government from across the Commonwealth gather for the Commonwealth Summit to discuss the future of one of the most diverse and dynamic intergovernmental networks. 

In order to ensure progress for its citizens, Commonwealth countries must address challenges such as providing good-quality jobs for its young populations, prioritising those most at risk of being left behind and building the resilience of Small Island Developing States.

Through showcasing innovative examples and offering recommendations for collective and national action, this briefing aims to provide a contribution to discussions at the Summit and beyond to advance the Commonwealth’s sustainable development.
