The United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) 2014–2018 for Kenya is an affirmation of the United Nations to support Kenya’s Vision 2030, the country’s development programme. In contrast to former development interventions, and in line with the United Nations approach of “Delivering as One”, the 2014–2018 UNDAF has been developed so that the leadership and ownership of its activities are in the hands of the Kenyan Government. This report outlines the achievements of the Social Protection Outcome Group during the first two years of the UNDAF (2014-2016) and charts the way forward for the coming year.
