主题Standby partners are an important mechanism for WFP to rapidly augment its emergency response. Not only do standby partners provide rapid surge capacity during emergencies, they also bring to WFP specific technical skills and equipment that are not available in-house. Standby partners bring expertise that help WFP adapt to the changing humanitarian landscape. WFP’s standby partner relationships are managed by the Augmented Logistics Intervention Team for Emergencies (ALITE) within WFP’s Supply Chain Division.
