概述Get our recent paper on improving models to assess the impact of ozone pollution on European forests.
摘要This article evaluates four previously-published ozone damage functions used in terrestrial biosphere models to determine their ability to simulate observed biomass dose-response relationships using the O-CN model. None were able to reproduce the observed ozone-induced biomass reductions. Calibrating a plant-functional-type-specific relationship between accumulated ozone uptake and leaf-level photosynthesis did lead to a good agreement between observed and modelled ozone damage.
