摘要
Climategate makes for fascinating reading, but as unfortunate as it is for the science community and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, it is a diversion on the road to dealing with global warming. Global warming is a reality that we need to better understand if we are to mitigate it and adapt to its consequences--in a way that allows humanity to protect its habitat, while transforming its economic activities in order to ensure a sustainable prosperity. To make the right choices, we need to communicate through cultural realities and special-interest groups to find acceptable political and societal solutions worthy of our individual and collective investments.
