摘要 | Ahead of COP26, from September 13 to October 25, the Oxford Future of Cooling programme will host a weekly series of online seminars. The motivation behind the series is the need for high-profile and broad-reaching conversations on tackling cooling as a system – one that is integral to addressing the climate crisis. The webinars will engage in conversation with academics, industry and policy makers, and cover themes that link to the programme’s framework on sustainable cooling: social interactions and cooling cultures; cooling technology and innovation; models for sustainable cold chains; circular cooling economy; infrastructure design for sustainable cooling; and finally, cooling for climate action. E3G, recognising the critical role of sustainable cooling as a mitigation and adaptation heavy weight for climate action, is supporting the Oxford Future of Cooling programme to share key policy recommendations and action points from the series. These recommendations and action points – found on this page as briefs for each webinar – will be shared with critical stakeholders in the cooling sector to foster a more sustainable future.
