Four CEPS researchers – Monica Alessi, Christian Egenhofer, Jorge Núñez Ferrer and Noriko Fujiwara – have contributed a couple of chapters to this newly edited volume published by Edward Elgar. The book examines in detail the spectrum of legal and market-based instruments as well as strategies and policies adopted around the world for managing climate change mitigation. Edited by Geert Van Calster, Wim Vandenberghe and Leonie Reins of KU Leuven, the book looks at the wider policy and economic aspects of coping with climate change and provides a comparative overview of key issues across Europe, the United States, Asia-Pacific and the BRICS countries.

The CEPS contributions include Chapter 11, entitled “Impacts of EU Climate and Energy Policies on Industry” by Monica Alessi, Christian Egenhofer and Jorge Núñez Ferrer, and chapter 13, “How can the Asian Industry Contribute to Climate Change Mitigation Action?” by Noriko Fujiwara.
