摘要 | Mosquito-transmitted diseases like West Nile, dengue and chikungunya have recently emerged and created widespread epidemics in the United States and Mexico, yet policymakers have made little effort to prevent future outbreaks. This policy brief urges collaboration between the United States and Mexico to improve comprehensive vector control programs, public awareness and the development of vaccines and other preventative measures to curb the spread of these diseases.
